If you want to avoid a crowded and overpriced bar to celebrate the end of 2016 and the start of 2017, then we suggest some great live music instead. Yesterday the massive dance event Decadence – City of Dreams dropped their lineup for New Years Eve, and it’s definitely something you might want to mark your calendars for. In the past, Decadence boasted lineups with at least two “big name” EDM acts each night such as deadmau5, Odesza or Big Gigantic. However, this year the festival really out-did themselves, proving that they’re not messing around anymore. For the first phase they have announced seventeen, yes seventeen, of some of the most popular artists in the electronic scene, forcing Coloradans to reconsider their NYE plans.

If you’re looking for some bass-heavy beats, Bassnectar and Zeds Dead will be providing them at the event with two acts that are undeniably popular here in Colorado. If you’re a fan of old school rave vibes, Tiesto and Eric Prydz will be there for you delivering the house jams. If dirty trap music is more your style, there’s no shortage of shows with RL Grime, Baauer, Marshmello and Keys N Krates. Also returning to Denver for the event are Flume, Chainsmokers and Griz who all sold out headlining shows at Red Rocks this summer.

This is only the beginning of what promises to be a next-level New Years Eve experience. It doesn’t matter who you are and what kind of music you’re a fan of; you’re bound recognize at least one of the names on this bill. Decadence is simply showing off this year, leaving many people no choice but to just buy a ticket and prepare to rage-in 2017. Decadence is by far the biggest New Years Eve celebration in Colorado, maybe the biggest in the country, and it’s right here on our doorstep in Denver.

Full lineup available here (with more to be announced).

Two-day and single-day passes for Decadence Denver will be available here tomorrow, September 30 2016 at 10 a.m. MST.
