If you’re anything like me, food excites you a concerning amount and is your hobby in life—especially if it involves melted cheese. Can I get a hell yes? If you think you have eaten the best Italian food, then you haven’t indulged in Pollo Alla Roberts at Cafe Jordano. This dish that has “more cheese please” written all over it, is a must-try.
In simple terms, this delectable dish is also known as Bob’s Favorite. Priced at $8.50 for lunch and $13 for dinner, Bob’s Favorite is chicken in a white wine cream sauce topped with asparagus and smothered in mozzarella, American and Parmesan cheeses. But a brief description doesn’t give its pure beauty the justice it deserves.
Diner beware: You will need an empty stomach before ordering Bob’s Favorite. Dining in at Cafe Jordano since I was little, I have found Bob’s favorite constantly bringing me back and never disappointing my insane cheese cravings. It’s served with a side of spaghetti and tomato sauce to balance the rich intensity of the warm and gooey cheese. For dinner, the dish is accompanied by garlic bread and your choice of soup or salad. And to top it off, I recommend pairing your meal with a glass of Chime Chardonnay ($7).
As your ultimate Italian comfort food, Bob’s Favorite will leave you with similar effects that you feel after eating Thanksgiving dinner—completely satisfied and ready for a snooze.
