Civic Center Park in downtown Denver will host the 2016 NFL Kickoff Village, a free, two-day fan festival, on Thursday, Sept. 8.

There will be free activities for fans, including a free concert at night before the Denver Broncos take on the Carolina Panthers for a Super Bowl 50 rematch as the season opener at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

This is the 15th consecutive year the NFL has hosted a fan festival to officially start off the season and the 12th time it has been hosted in the Super Bowl champion’s home city.

Last year’s celebration in San Francisco included performances by Ellie Goulding and Train. Other previous performers have included Keith Urban, No Doubt and Mariah Carey.

More information will be available about the event later this week. Check back here for updates.
