The 5th annual Caffeine Crawl returns to Colorado this August. The tour hits Boulder and Fort Collins August 6 and 7, followed by Denver and Colorado Springs August 13 and 14, respectively.
The LAB, a beverage marketing and creative firm from Fort Collins, first started Caffeine Crawl in 2011. Since then, the lineup has spread to 17 cities and is highly anticipated. The Colorado leg of the Crawl lasts two weekends, hits four cities and more than 50 local businesses to feature Colorado’s best coffee, tea, chocolate, juice and kombucha.
This year’s participants include:
Allegro Coffee Roasters
Beagle Coffee Co.
Black Black Coffee
Copper Door Coffee Roasters
Denver Bicycle Cafe
Happy Leaf Kombucha
Lion Head Coffee
Process Coffee Lab
Purple Door Coffee
SloHi Coffee Co.
The Sophisticate’s Tea
Sweet Bloom Coffee
With each event, there will be a kickoff and after parties hosted by various sponsors who are listed here. Colorado Coffee Collective and Beagle Coffee Company are just some of the many sponsors.
Participants follow a Caffeine Crawl tour guide on a preplanned route. Each business shows what it has to offer with a short presentation and sample. Crawlers receive goodie bags with gifts from participating shops and sponsors. You must provide your own transportation between stops, whether it’s biking, walking or driving.
Ticket holders receive a free beverage passport from The Passport Program so they can explore Boulder, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs and the Fika Denver Coffee Passport.
