Now that summer’s in full swing, so are the Denver-area concert lineups. Red Rocks has a show every night for the next week, with headlining artists Sublime, Brand New, Modest Mouse and Zeds Dead to name a few. The lineup inside of Denver is just as large, with local bands stealing the spotlight. Whether you’re into pop-punk, 90s hip-hop or new-wave electronic, there’s a show this week that you’ll need to drop some cash for tickets to.

Monday, June 27, 2016

A veteran to the venue, Sublime is returning to Red Rocks Amphitheatre as part of the band’s 2016 summer tour. Sublime will hit the stage after performances from two reggae bands, Tribal Seeds and New Kingston.

Also playing that night is Hieroglyphics, an underground hip hop group hailing from Oakland, Calif.

If you haven’t had the chance to go to a concert at Red Rocks yet this summer, and dig the indie folk-rock scene, Tuesday night is the perfect time to go.

Playing along with Grammy award-winning artist Ben Harper and his band The Innocent Criminals is Dallas Green, better known by his stage name City and Colour. His acoustic-folk music isn’t exactly optimistic, but fans love the depth of his lyrics and the passion of his performances.
