It is time to break out your shorts and flip flops as Denver warms up. Summer = sun, no worries, dope fashion, cold drinks, pool parties, new trends and of course more 303 pool parties. While the Mile High City has so much to offer, 303 is always here  you all the details.

The Low Down: Matthew Morris Salon and Skincare is celebrating 10 successful years by putting on a vibrant, creative runway show featuring hits by The Blonds. The Blonds luxury brand is based in New York and is wildly known for it’s glamorous yet rebellious take on fashion. This event is set to bring in over 600 fashion heavyweights. Every anniversary the Matthew Morris empire never fails to bring it whether it’s a football field for a runway or models pouring out of a baroque limousine. Tickets can be purchased HERE.

 Dolled Up for a Cause

Admission: $20

The Low Down: Fashion designer, Salwa Owens, is putting on a night full of beauty, fashion, food and it’s all for a great cause.  Difranco’s is catering with light appetizers, desserts and mimosas. There will also be the opportunity to have a complimentary style consultation while receiving exclusive trunk show access.  If you choose to attend, you are strongly encouraged to donate new dolls.  The goal is to collect as many dolls as possible to donate to Dolls for Daughters.  You can snag a ticket HERE.

Fancy Tiger Crafts 10 Year Anniversary Celebration and The Colorado Yarn Project Release

Where:  Fancy Tiger Crafts 59 Broadway, Denver, CO 80203

The Low Down: Fancy Tiger owners, Jaime Jennings and Amber Corcoran, are celebrating ten amazing years in their retail store located in the heart of Denver. They will be celebrating by making a toast to all of their success thanks to the community. They have a tradition of rewarding the first 100 people through their door on Saturday morning with goodie bags filled with amazing craft supplies from some amazing Mile High vendors and they will continue the tradition at this celebratory event. Jaime and Amber will also be releasing their new project, Junegrass: A Colorado Yarn Project, where they teamed up with two local sheep farms, a yarn mill in Craig, Colorado, and even a Boulder­based letter press shop to produce a 100% Colorado grown and milled yarn.

The African Fashion Show

The Low Down: The African Fashion show is a cultural extravaganza with fashions from Sudan, Liberia, Zambia, Mali, Kenya, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Uganda and  Nigeria. The goal is to expose African culture to the outside world through fashion, dance, food, crafts and jewelry. Tickets can be purchased HERE.
