Youth on Record Day & Free Album Release/Block Party

The Low Down: This block party/album release will bring together local and national musicians, poets, and artists for a day-long celebration to commemorate the release of Youth on Record’s first album. There will be live music by Youth on Record students, poetry readings from Denver’s Minor Disturbance, and live mural paintings. The Youth on Record album will be playing at various listening stations throughout the event. Creatives of all ages are encouraged to attend.

 

Insane Inflatable 5k

When: May 14, 8:30 a.m.

Where: The Ranch at Larimer County Fairgrounds, 5280 Arena Circle, Suite 100, Loveland

The Low Down: The name of this course says it all. Expect an event that is far more silly than serious, as the Insane Inflatable 5k is an untimed and jam-packed with shifty and slippery inflatable challenges. You can participate in a team or as a loan wolf, but either way prepare to cut loose and feel like a kid again.

The Low Down: Showcasing the talents of dancers with and without disabilities, Spoke N Motion Dance is Colorado’s only integrated dance company. The event celebrates music and movement in a diverse population of dancers. The troupe is comprised of dancers young and old, with and without vision, wheelchair bound and able-bodied, who all share the love of dance.

The Low Down: Growing strong since 1997, the award-winning Cherry Creek Fresh Market delivers a diverse range of Colorado growers and local food vendors.
