The Low Down: A groundbreaking collection of robots from around the globe will be on display at Denver Museum of Nature and Science. Robot Revolution, powered by Google.org with additional support from The Boeing Company is divided into four features of focusSkills, Smarts, Cooperation, and Locomotion—to inform visitors about the various facets of robotics. Explore the exciting Robot Revolutions and learn how robot technology can change our lives.

 

Embodying the Feminine Divine

The Low Down: Local boutique and ultra chic communal space, Goldyn is hosting an event that honors the sacred side to fashion and beauty, with special guest Anna Jensen. Colorado native, Jensen is a stylist on a spiritual mission to bring self-love to our everyday fashion routines through Embodying the Feminine Divine. The evening will include an abbreviated version of Jensen’s client consultations, creative new ways to enjoy self-care habits, as well as complimentary drinks and hors d’oeuvres.

 

Interweave Yarn Fest

The Low Down: Spin tales or yarn at Interweave Yarn Fest 2016. The three-day event is an ode to the fiber arts and its makers. Not only will there be a marketplace jam packed with more than 50 vendors, but also expertly guided workshops. This year’s festival caters to the novelist knitter to the all-out yarn junky for a weekend of fiber overload.

 

Off the Clock: Vintage Victorian

Denver Botanic Gardens

Where: Denver Botanic Gardens – 1007 York St, Denver

The Low Down: Be transported to a time and place where women were ladies, men were gentlemen and decorum was of the utmost importance. The Denver Botanic Garden presents Off the Clock: Vintage Victorian a night of all things prim with a dash of whimsy. Take a stab at ballroom dancing, proper floral arrangements, or pick something else from an ample list of Victorian themed interactive experiences.

 

DFW ‘16 Kick-Off and Red Pearl Movie Premier

The Low Down: Yours truly, 303 Magazine will be hosting this year’s Denver Fashion Week commencement and movie premier. The event supports the cast and those behind the scenes involved in Denver’s first fashion comedy movie—Red Pearl. The film revolves around a young fashion graduate, Scarlet, in over her head in a new city. Red Pearl features native fashion hero, Mondo Guerra. Come out for the beginning of a stylish week in Denver.

 

Misfit Goods Market

Where: Grandma’s House – 1710 S. Broadway, Denver

The Low Down: Spend your Saturday afternoon sifting through a hodgepodge of random awesomeness at the Misfit Goods Market. Hosted by DIY guru, Craft Boner the market features 10 local artist and small business owners seeking to sell their quirky art at super discounted prices. Go and score big.
