How will you spend your Sunday? If you’re like us, it’s with football, food, friends, and booze. Our beloved Broncos are in the playoffs and we must celebrate and cheer accordingly. If you’re looking where or how to spend your gameday, look no further. These Denver bars and restaurants are worthy of your time this Sunday. Enjoy a cold one with us, and GO BRONCOS!

The Low Down: Grab a seat at an Illegal’s Pete this Sunday because the local burrito joint will be hosting an all day happy hour. Granted, the day-long deal happens every Sunday but with the Broncos in the playoff your $4 margarita, $2.50 domestic draft beer or $3.50 select craft beer and free chips and salsa (with bar order) will taste that much better.

The Low Down: If you haven’t checked out this collective eatery, you need to. Seven micro-restaurants for food and 20 different beer options leave you with plenty to choose from. Two large bars along with a lounge and dining area make Avanti a great place for game day. Reservations are accepted for parties of 10 or more, so make that call. (720) 269-4778

The Low Down: It was only right to include this Denver icon on our game day list. Grab one of the best burgers in town and cheer on your team this Sunday. With so many booze, beer, and burger options, you won’t be disappointed. Cherry Cricket happy hour is daily from 3-6 p.m.

The Low Down: Share a special “Orange is the New Blue” punch on game day this Sunday at Punch Bowl Social. Old Forest Bourbon, Domaine de Canton, lemon juice, apple butter, simple syrup, and pear tea make up this boozy Broncos bowl. Grab something to eat with their $5 “Broncos, Buds, and Brats” special including your choice of Bud or Bud Light and a bratwurst with sauerkraut and Sriracha beer mustard. Punchbowl’s bowling, ping pong, foosball, and vintage arcade games also make it a great stop for game day.

The Low Down: Fill your anxious belly with Elway’s Game Day Brunch Buffet. The Low Down: Looking to watch the game on a big screen? Stoney’s has you covered with 31 HD TV’s and two 120 inch projection screens. Game day drink specials include $4 Tuaca, Soco, Jack, Jack Honey, and Herradura Silver, $5 Herradura Margaritas and a Finlandia Bloody Mary Bar,  $4.50 Blue Moon pints, and $3.50 Coors Light and Miller Light pints. Take home a small souvenir as all pints will be poured in a Stoney’s cup.
