Mai Wyn Fine Art hosts “Creators” by Sharon Bond Brown, a “portrait series presenting the many faces that make up Denver’s vast and dynamic art community.” Opening Reception Friday, October 23 from 6p.m. – 9p.m. at Mai Wyn Fine Art located 744 Santa Fe Drive, Denver. Our next adventure takes us on a short drive to Indian Hills up to Mirada Fine Art where they are showcasing the work of acclaimed Russian artist Julia Klimova with her lastest work “New Realities”. This is a stunning exhibit described as “timelessly classic yet undeniably contemporary” that includes figurative art, still life’s and a collection of landscapes. “Light and airy landscapes vie for attention with female figures which somehow portray equal parts soft vulnerability and beguiling sensuality.” Opening Reception, Friday, October 23 from 6p.m. – 9p.m. Exhibit runs through November 15, 2015. The Glitter Dome located in the RiNo District hosts “The Portal” an exciting, multimedia rock opera that is “immersive, performed live, that takes its audience on a journey of transformation and empowerment. Through deeply experiencing this immersive and sensory story, the audience is invited onto their own journey, in which they are encouraged to transform their consciousness, overcome their frustration and fears and emerge from the show feeling transformed and empowered. If they so choose, the audience is also encouraged to interact with the show through dancing, chanting and costuming.
