After Party on the Bridge: A Benefit to Denver’s Greenway Foundation

The Blue Moon After Party On The Bridge is a unique event combining great music and urban scenery for an awesome cause. One night after The Greenway Foundation’s esteemed Gala on the Bridge on Sept. 11, people will gather on the Historic 19th Street Bridge for an evening of delicious bites, refreshing cocktails and amazing live music all to benefit the Greenway Foundation. The Greenway Foundation works to beautify and reconstruct Denver’s waterways and urban parks. The event is in its third year and has even more in store for Denver in 2015.

Partygoers can enjoy a special headlining performance by American rock duo Jamestown Revival, who after a successful national tour with stops at Coachella, SXSW and more, have quickly become a national favorite. The party will also feature a special DJ set from Denver’s own sweethearts, Rose Quartz, who have had quite the year sharing stages with names like St. Lucia, STRFKR, Cut Copy and Future Islands.

The event will also honor Partners in Change, by doling out awards and recognition to honor individuals within the Colorado area who are working to improve the community by connecting people to the river. This year’s Partners in Change categories will consist of Art, Public Projects, Private Development and Programming Events and Recreation!

Your attendance directly benefits the Greenway Foundation by donating a percentage of proceeds to the upkeep and integration of programs along Denver’s waterways and neighboring parks. The event is not only a benefit for the Greenway foundation, but a jovial celebration of urban life along Denver’s historic South Platte River.

Tickets are $75 per person and benefit such a great cause—the beautification and appreciation of our great city! How can you pass that up? Tell your friends and make a night of it! When you’ve got a cold drink in your hand and you gaze out at our majestic skyline and the breathtaking mountainous backdrop, you can imagine me whispering “I told you so,” creepily in your ear.
