Sub.mission presents Electronic Tuesdays @ Cervantes Other Side On May 12
Every Tuesday local underground Dubstep promoters Sub.mission celebrate both local and international music by paring a local showcase of DJ’s with a few big-name headliners. This week, Carver and Clock will be opening the night, with Dubwol and Caustik warming things up for them. The local DJ competition and showcase will be between DeaDNasty, MissFunBox, Shock Therapy and Shr Edit. Get there early – women receive free entry and a drink ticket before 9 PM and men only pay $5 before 9 PM.

Lana Del Rey @ Red Rocks On May 12
If you’re looking for a fun date to take your girlfriend on or a great event for a girls night out, look no further than Lana Del Rey at Red Rocks on Tuesday night. The incredibly talented, multiplatinum singer and songwriter is returning to Colorado for another early summer performance on her new Endless Summer Tour. Lana has recently been working on new music for a few upcoming movies and she will surely have some new tracks and old classics for her fans in Colorado. Jessie J @ Ogden Theatre May 13

Songstress Jessie J will head to the Ogden theatre this Wednesday to rock the Mile High with her fun, flirty vocals. Known for sultry jams like “Bang Bang,” “Burnin’ Up” and her nostalgic hit “Price Tag” with B.o.B. which propelled her to stardom, Jessie J’s pipes wake up audience members to a truly amazing voice, coupled with stage presence of the most seasoned divas, Jessie will light up the night, bringing the heat to Denver. Candyland @ Beta On May 14
Candyland, the always lively DJ duo, is returning to some familiar stomping grounds this Thursday, May 14, in the form of Beta Nightclub. Candyland has performed at Beta multiple times over the years and they always throw one hell of a party. Bringing some intense party energies in every city they visit, Candyland always turns it up a notch in Denver and has the crowd bouncing and popping within seconds. Global Dub @ Red Rocks On May 15
The fourth annual Global Dub Festival is returning to Red Rocks this Friday, May 15. AEG and Global Dance have teamed up again to bring another absolutely incredible lineup to Red Rocks. With huge heavy hitting acts like Must Die! and Zomboy taking the stage, the amphitheater is sure to be packed with people ready to cut completely loose. Ookay and Yellow Claw are sure to draw in the masses with booming bass as well, however all eyes and ears will be on Excision and his Executioner lighting and sound installation. Tipper @ Red Rocks On May 16
Dave Tipper’s headlining debut at Red Rocks is finally upon us. The legendary Tipper, a semi-silent man and a one of a kind producer, is ready and waiting to unleash his powers of musical genius upon Red Rocks this Saturday, May 16. Tipper has some of the most unique and incredible sounds out there and he has certainly been putting something extra special together for his first time headlining at Red Rocks. His musical style ranges all over the map and his sets reflect this, often moving seamlessly between psychedelic Trip-Hop, ambient tones and body shaking bass waves.
