Bassnectar, the legendary King of the Sound himself, will be taking over Red Rocks this weekend for an extended Colorado run. This year the invasion of Bassheads from around the globe will last three full days instead of just two, as Lorin and the Bassnectar crew agreed with the fans that they simply couldn’t get enough. With all new stage designs, an entirely new batch of unreleased music and an extra night to play around with, Lorin is guaranteed to create a maelstrom of thrashing, head banging bodies within the grasp of those oh so holy red rocks.

These three most special of nights sold out almost instantaneously, proving Bassnectar’s fans loyalty and dedication to him and to making the pilgrimage to Red Rocks. The hype for this weekend has been growing at an exponential rate over the past few months, as Lorin has taken to Twitter to voice his own excitement, as well as give us eager fans a glimpse at his vault of music that will debut at Red Rocks.

The new LP, recently revealed to be titled Into The Sun, is a collection of seventeen tracks that were developed by maestro Lorin in the depths of the bass dungeons over the few months. He performed one of these seventeen beasts during his set at EDC New York and videos of the tasty Bassnectar flavors were instantly shared all over social media. Lorin graced us with another nugget of gold via Twitter a few days ago, naming the insane song as Generate. While this weekend is sold out there are tickets floating around out there and it is highly recommended everyone make it to this descent onto Red Rocks this Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. It is a sight to behold when Red Rocks is filled with buzzing bees ready to harvest some long awaited Nectar.
