The shoes, the lights, the makeup and the red carpet are tucked away and all the models have packed their bags to move on as New York Fashion week has come to a beautiful end. This year the fashion was riveting and the beauty was rebellious.
World-renowned artists push themselves to their limit to create looks that are eye-catching and complimentary to each designer’s vision. With all of the new beauty in the air we are excited to try these fresh runway looks.
Which look will you dare to wear?
Pierced Brows:
The rebellion was lead by Rodarte and the now infamous pierced brows. Created by James Kaliardos this look took meticulous execution.
Negative Space Nails:
Candy coated and barley there; the nails at Derek Lam subtly caught everyone’s eye with a minimalistic approach to color featuring Ombre effects by Sally Hansen.
Colored Brows & One-sided Dip-Dye:
Badgley Mischka broke all the rules and we loved it. Brow embellishment continued by debuting colored brows to punk up the pretty faces. To top off this look, UK hair stylists Josh Wood and Nicola Clarke created touches of pastels on the under layers of hair to give the audience a flash of color as the models strutted down the runway.
Would you try both bold looks together? Or select just one look to try?
Fresh Faces:
Jeremy Scott is the mad man of modern couture but the beauty at his show was simple and effortless. The models all showcased orange blush and nude lips, allowing the fashion take center stage.
Raver Knots:
Raver chic hair is perfect for summertime. This look is simple, funky and a playful compliment to the entire Marc by Marc Jacobs’ collection.
