Surprise Wedding

Brangelina finally got hitched, but we’re more interested in what Angelina wore. The couple tied the knot last weekend in France and said their vows in a small private chapel. Jolie was escorted down the asile by her sons, Maddox and Pax. Her two daughters, Zahara and Vivienne acted as flower girls while Shiloh and Knox served as ring-bearers. Jolie choose a custom made Atelier Versace gown made of white silk-satin with an elongated train. Donatella Versace designed the gown herself and sent a letter stating “Beauty, class and brain. That’s you, Angelina, I wish all the best and happiness to you and your wonderful family. Love, DV.”

We all know the moose and we all know the brand, but A & F recently announced they it will be ditching its easily recognizable logo, in North American stores at least. The company has justified its decision by saying, “Our consumer is less logo-oriented. They are [no longer] walking billboards.” However, A & F is still keeping its logo plastered on products at other stores worldwide. I guess we’ll have to wait and see how long this trend will last.

The title speaks for itself. New York Fashion week has officially kicked off this week. Designers are showcasing their Spring/Summer 2015 best collections. We can’t wait to see shows from designers such as Phillip Lim, Diane Von Furstenberg, and Rag and Bone. However, many designers are deciding to move away from the infamous Lincoln Center and are now showing all around New York. Last season Alexander Wang showcased his collection in Brooklyn and for a second year in a row, and DVF will be showing at Spring Studios. But don’t fret, some designers will still be using Lincoln Center for their runway homes.
