Feed Me, a very talented British DJ and producer, returned to Colorado this past Tuesday and Wednesday, August 26th and 27th, for a spectacular two night run in the middle of his Psychedelic Journey Tour. Feed Me debuted his new and improved stage to Colorado fans at the Boulder Theater and the Ogden Theater, unveiling those massive grinning Teeth with incredible flair. The openers for both nights warmed the crowd up right away, getting everyone moving within just a few minutes of music coming on. Illenium performed first, providing both songs with softer melodies as well as some with a heavier driven bass line. Zeros came out next, bringing the pace up quickly with songs that had faster rhythms and made the dance floor quake with bass. Finally, Delta Heavy brought out the dance party hits, which made the crowd wave and crash like a stormy sea. All three of these openers absolutely crushed their sets, establishing their skills as DJ’s and performers, and getting both of these crowds dancing hard and extremely excited for Feed Me’s grand entrance.

Once the three openers equipment was all cleared from the front of the stage, a giant curtain was dropped and that mischievous smile pierced the gloom with a rainbow of colors streaming across the LED panels. Feed Me got on the microphone to pump up the crowds each night, introducing himself and asking if everyone was ready to party with him. The crowds cheered uncontrollably both times, jumping and yelling with uncontrollable eagerness. Feed Me got the ball rolling instantly, blasting off onto a psychedelic journey with extreme visual effects to compliment both his softer and melodic tunes, as well as his heavy hitting bass music. The speakers rumbled with sound as Feed Me turned up the heat, shaking the room with sonic resonance.

Musical and lyrical styles were twisted and merged as Feed Me mixed songs into a blend that was uniquely his own. He dropped multiple songs from his older collection, as well as his songs from his new Psychedelic Journey EP. Feed Me also played lots of new and popular dance music tracks, ensuring that he keep the tempo up to a maximum at all times. Feed Me caused a ruckus in these two theaters, throwing down hit after hit in a raw display of pure musical energy. The huge Teeth glittered and shone with different lights and images as Feed Me moved the crowd with seamless transitions and enormous drops filled with bass.
