Denver Fashion Weekend is less than a week away, and all of us at 303 Magazine are counting down the days until the catwalk lights up and we see this season’s hottest trends.
The first of three nights will showcase national brands including MINI, Ducati and Burton. If you aren’t familiar with the clothing collections from each of these brands, DFW will be the perfect time to catch up. But as a precursor to Burton’s segment, we’re giving you a sneak peek at a few of the looks you might see on that long, white runway.
To get a preview, 303 spoke with Burton’s marketing rep, Michael Swift. If you’re like us and didn’t know that Burton hosts collections for off the mountain, we’re all going to be surprised when we see that they’re taking it to another level with their street wear-inspired styles.
Don’t forget to buy your tickets to DFW before they sell out!
303 Magazine: Why does Burton want to be a part of Denver Fashion Weekend?
Michael Swift: Colorado is the most important snow territory in the world, but we’re not just a world of beanies and hoodies. Burton has an apparel line that keeps the snowboarder spirit alive through every season.
303: What collection will be presented?
MS: We are presenting our Spring/Summer collection that can be found in stores now.
303: Can you tell us a little about the looks that we’ll see come down the runway?
MS: Casual styles that are right for a hike up the mountain or a night on the town…and because it’s Colorado, we’ll have a few jackets for the crazy rain storms and chilly nights thrown in as well.
303: Will it be both men’s and women’s?
MS: Absolutely, all of our seasons include men and women.
303: Why do you think Burton’s collections work for the Denver crowd?
