Holy Underground, Megafauna, Early Bird //Night Owl, Imbibe, and The IndiCard are the masterminds behind the first Holy Underground Block Party this Friday, Sept. 27 at 27th and Larimer streets in Denver’s RiNo district.

The event, in conjunction with Final Friday, the last First Friday of the year, promises to be an art-filled extravaganza. For $10, attendees will get a wristband that grants them access to all of the block party activities and music, discounts at participating businesses, and drink specials at the four venues where the bands will be playing: Larimer Lounge, Cold Crush, Our Mutual Friends Malt & Brew, and Laundry on Lawrence Outdoor Stage.

Where does that $10 go? All proceeds from the Holy Underground Block Party will be donated to Holy Underground musicians to help fund their journey to represent Denver at CMJ Music Marathon. CMJ Music Marathon is an annual event in New York that showcases new artists.

In addition to showcasing over 15 of Denver’s favorite bands including FLASH/LIGHTS, The Epilogues, and Shady Elders, the Holy Underground Block Party will also feature live art, open art galleries, street vendors, and food trucks.

For fans of local music, this event will be a great way to support local artists while also enjoying a final taste of Denver summer. Tickets can be purchased here.
