Local Denver boutique, Kismet Accessories, is far more than fashionable merchandise. The word “Kismet” is defined as “fate; destiny” and their benevolent business plan reflects their namesake, extending beyond hamsa-adorned bracelets.

Every month in 2013, Kismet is donating a portion of its sales to a different charity. The philanthropies range from local to international and from environmental to humanitarian:

  • JANUARY: Maxfund
  • FEBRUARY: Doctors without Borders
  • MARCH: The Gathering Place
  • APRIL: Brent’s Place
  • MAY: Organic Seed Alliance
  • JUNE: Re:Vision International
  • JULY: Denver Urban Gardens
  • AUGUST: Heifer International
  • SEPTEMBER: Judi’s House
  • OCTOBER: Safehouse Denver
  • NOVEMBER: Water for People
  • DECEMBER: AVAAZ

Kismet has everything a girl needs to complete the perfect outfit: jewelry, scarves, hats, clothing and handbagsHome décor and designs are sprinkled throughout the store to freshen up your living space alongside your wardrobe. Custom charm bracelets at the “Charm Bar” are another fun addition and a great gift idea.

The store’s personality is a mix of “carefree while conscientious,” with floral prints, tie-dye and tribal patterns. Ink, Darling, and Emily Amey Jewelry are some of the brands Kismet carries.
