Cara Delevingne is to every major runway show as Starbucks is to every block in New York City — absolutely everywhere. And just like a daily caffeine fix, Cara adorned in the latest fashions is quite the enhancement. But, this week’s Style Crush answers the question, “What’s Cara wearing running from runway to runway?”

Cara’s boyish look was spotted outside the Burberry Prorsum show during London’s Fall/Winter 2013/14 Fashion Week in February. The casual “skater boy” look is a usual to her signature street style.  The loose fitting jeans, printed tee, jacket (times two), and silver high tops are a perfect pairing. Her light blue and white beanie creates a pop of color that completes the ensemble.

The look goes from red traffic lights to the red carpet at the Taken By Storm exhibition in London last April. The fitted leather pant reveals her petite figure; while the gray blazer, oxford shirt and boots add a masculine touch. Heels, a girly bag or jewelry are all great ways to “fem” up a menswear-dominated outfit.

Guard your closets boyfriends and brothers, menswear for women is a major DO this fall!

Both men’s coats and menswear fabrics are projected trends for the fall 2013 season. Expect to see oversize topcoats by Alexander Wang, Stella McCartney and Jil Sander gracing the runways.

The “Le Smoking Suit” by Yves Saint Laurent from 1969 marked the first-ever women’s tuxedo,  while hugely fashion forward, it proved pivotal in painting the modern woman as professional and business-like.

It is only fitting that our Style Crush Cara Delevingne is the face of Saint Laurent Paris’s Fall 2013 line. In an updated Le Smoking Suit, she is especially crush worthy!
