A fun, trendy outfit is the perfect pairing for any candid summertime activity. Retail Therapy, in the center of Pearl Street in Boulder, is the ultimate haute haven for fashionistas.
“The girl” Retail Therapy dresses is “the stylish lady between 20-40, very classy. Perfect for a day in Boulder and a night out in Denver!” model-esque assistant manager/ retail therapist, Lila Zwonitzer, said.
The brands they carry range from Vince Camuto, L.A. Made, and Hudson Jeans to jewelry made by local designers. Also, if you need assistance in picking out impeccable strutting gear, their personal stylists will dress you as if you jumped out of this month’s Vogue!
The ladies at Retail Therapy gave some insight on the trends to look out for this summer season. Maxi dresses and skirts was the quick response. The pieces sell out overwhelming fast at the store, as they are a perfect and comfortable part of a flowy summer ensemble.
Another noted trend that you’ll see in the days of endless picnics and poolside lounging is stripes — horizontal stripes specifically. Even in landlocked Colorado, throw on some navy stripes, gold embellishments and red heels and you might as well be tanning on a boat! As for weddings, (attention bridesmaids and potential bouquet catchers) pastels with cutouts are popular accompaniments to vows this season.
In addition to the Retail Therapy’s chic clothing, hairstyling and eyebrow threading services are also provided.
“It’s really just ladies hanging out and talking, it sounds silly buy it really is retail therapy!” Zwonitzer said with a laugh.
So ladies, if you need an all-around makeover to put your best foot forward (in the trendiest shoes of course), Retail Therapy is your one-stop destination.
Storeowner, Lisa Gindy, will be showcasing garments at Boulder’s Fashion Night Out in August.
