Flemings Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar:

Located south of Denver off I-25 and County Line, Flemings Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar is an upscale eatery that is great for a date night or a special celebration, and their carefully crafted cocktails and extensive list of wines available by the glass make this a favorite for happy hour after a long day in the office. But on Father’s Day, Fleming’s will be serving a special Three Course Brunch for $36.95 per guest (the regular and children’s menu is also available all day).

As an added bonus, all dads dining at Fleming’s will also receive a $25 gift card good for use on a future visit. Prime rib for brunch on Sunday and a free steak for lunch on Monday would make any dad a happy guy.

Let Fleming’s valet park the car and head inside for a feast. For the appetizer, try the Lobster Bisque served with sherry cream for a decadent start to your meal. Entree choices include Fleming’s Signature Eggs Benedict served with your choice of sliced filet mignon or smoked salmon atop a toasted Wolferman’s English muffin with wilted arugula and béarnaise sauce or the juicy Prime Rib with a Trio of Sauces, slow-cooked herb and garlic-crusted prime rib with natural au jus, creamed horseradish and horseradish mustard. Save room for dessert, too, because the White Chocolate Bread Pudding with a bourbon crème anglaise is particularly tempting.

If you’re farther north, head to LoHi for brunch at Central Bistro and Bar. Central is a modern American eatery where you can enjoy the fresh summer air on the patio or take in Denver’s skyline from the bar as you sip on Central’s favorite libation, whiskey. This Father’s Day, they will be serving their regular brunch menu plus a couple of extra special treats. Everyone loves bacon, so Central is offering Unlimited Bacon with your brunch this Father’s Day. After you’ve had your pork overload, make sure to order ‘adult juice’. Choose from Carrot-Ginger, Beet-Tarragon or Cucumber -Mint and let Central booze it up for you. With a cocktail in hand on the patio, pick from meaty entrees like the Flat Iron Steak Omelette with caramelized onion, truffle hollandaise and cheddar or the Duck Confit Hash with root vegetables or sunnyside eggs and duck demi. You can also opt for one of Central’s Bennies  like the Dungeness Crab or the House Cured Skuna Bay Lox served on a house-made English muffin.

If you’re in the mood for some lunch options instead, go for the Boxcar Burger, a crave-worthy patty served with caramelized onions, blue cheese and bacon. Other tempting choices include the Nutella Waffle served with banana rum butterscotch and pretzel ice cream and the light and refreshing Citrus Salad with grapefruit, orange, arugula, fennel and goat cheese.

If all of this isn’t enough, Central is serving a Complimentary 1-ounce Pour of Select Whiskey for every child that comes along to brunch. So round up the kids and make a reservation.

This weekend, make Sunday all about dad, starting with brunch. Whether you head north to Central Bistro or south to Fleming’s, you’ll get tasty food and quality cocktails that are sure to leave everyone with full stomachs and smiling faces.
