This Mother’s Day, raise your mimosa and cheers to mom!
She works hard and is always there, so a relaxing brunch is the perfect way to spend time with mom and say thanks for all she does. Brunches abound in Denver on any weekend, but reserve a table for May 12th at one of these restaurants offering brunch specials just for moms:
If you’re heading downtown, make a reservation at Panzano for an indulgent Italian brunch buffet that is sure to make mom smile. For $35 per person ($17 for children 12 and under), guests can enjoy an Antipasti and Dessert Buffet as well as the choice of one entrée.
The Antipasti Buffet features tons of selections including fresh fruit, pastries, house smoked salmon and the highlight: a lamb carving station from Colorado’s Triple M Bar Ranch. Entrée options include Chicken Hash, French Toast, and Vincisgrassi, 100 layers of baked pasta with a wild boar ragu, marjoram, parmesan, pomodoro sauce and béchamel sauce. Bottomless Bellinis are also available for mom’s sipping pleasure for only $9.
Mother’s Day brunch at Panzano is available from 8am-2:30pm.
If mom likes a taste of the exotic, reserve a table at Latin-Asian fusion restaurant Zengo for their bottomless Mums & Mother’s Day Brunch. For $35 per person ($10 for children 12 and under), Zengo wants to help you treat mom this year with free flowing brunch cocktails and unlimited small plates, and bonus- mom gets a chrysanthemum to take home too.Cocktail choices include traditional Sangria, Bloody Marys, and Mimosas as well as more tropical choices like Guava or Passion Fruit Mimosas. Mom will have a hard time knowing what to order first with plentiful small plate selections like Ceviche Dorado, Peking Duck Chilaquiles, Churros, and Chorizo Egg Steamed Buns.
Zengo’s Mums and Mother’s Day Brunch is available from 10:30-2:30pm and will also feature a live DJ.
If letting the kids stay in their PJ’s on Mother’s Day sounds good to you, then make a reservation for Second Home Kitchen + Bar’s Mother’s Day Pajama Brunch. Moms will get a complimentary mimosa to enjoy with their meal and all kids 8 and under in PJ’s eats for free.
Second Home’s Pajama Brunch features a DIY Bloody Bar with a variety of house made mixes for $9 and Bottomless Mimosas for $12. Share some Hummus or Spicy Tuna Tartare with mom while you catch up or treat yourself to a Bag O’ Doughnuts with assorted dipping sauces. Entrée choices include sandwiches like the Prime Rib French Dip, traditional breakfast fare like Chicken-Fried Steak and Eggs Benedict as well as some playful pancake selections like the Fruit Loop Pancakes and Graceland Pancakes, banana pancakes with peanut butter whipped cream, bacon, and maple syrup.
Mother’s Day Pajama Brunch at Second Home Kitchen + Bar is available from 7-3pm.
