The Brassiere Bazaar and Vintage Fair, held this Saturday at the Lumbar Baron Inn & Gardens, is a must see event. Hosted by Mile High Heels Inc., don’t miss this unique fundraiser benefiting Safehouse Denver and Gateway Battered Women’s Shelter.
Over the past few months, supporters have been decorating bras and donating them for this weekend’s drive. Each bra is designed with a different theme in mind offering a unique collection for guests to vote on. For $1, attendees can cast their vote for their favorite bras and help contribute to the battered women’s shelters of Denver.
The purpose of this event is to help raise awareness about domestic violence against women as well as raise money for two of Denver’s leading women’s shelters.
According to Safehouse Denver, “Domestic violence is a pattern of behavior used to control, coerce, intimidate, threaten, manipulate, and/or exert power over a current or past partner.”
Every year, millions of women are victims of domestic violence. Mile High Heels Inc. is determined to take a stand against this by offering a creative event for the Denver community to help support these women in need.
The event will take place on Saturday from 11AM-4PM at 2555 W 37th Ave., Denver, CO 80211. Tickets can be purchased in advance at http://brassierebazaar.eventbrite.com/.
