There is no one who needs more of a time out (maybe a suspension?) than Taylor Swift. She is a serial dater in the worst way. Time-outs need to be taken when you are jumping from relationship to relationship, without learning anything about yourself in between. Every breakup is a chance to grow, and she should take that time to figure out what worked, what didn’t, and what she should avoid in the future.
Rihanna is the biggest culprit of this right now. There has been little to show that Chris Brown has changed in any way (Frank Ocean would agree). There is always an appeal to the women that “I can change him” or “It will be different with me”, and the truth is, much of these delusions come from the woman’s own fears of being alone. When you don’t equate your self worth with the love of a man, you will never put up with abuse (emotional or physical).
Jake Gyllenhaal and Katie Holmes
Some celebrities are perpetually single because they haven’t found the right person to make them not want to date others. However, I believe some of them are just smart – about themselves. I honestly don’t see George Clooney and Leonardo DiCaprio settling down long term because they know that isn’t what fits their lifestyle.
Hollywood is so different from the rest of the universe. There is so much beauty, so much temptation, so much success, and so little reality. It is hard enough to maintain a healthy marriage/relationship without the speculation of the tabloids, and making out with your co-stars
