On Monday, models, designers, celebs, socialites and editors came together to honor the late Alexander McQueen at the Met Gala, arguably fashion’s biggest event of the year. The annual occasion kicks off a fashion-focused exhibition, and this year’s was devoted to Alexander McQueen’s legendary designs, in an exhibit entitled “Savage Beauty“.

From Tom Ford to Anna Wintour to Madonna, fashion’s elite lined the massive red carpet leading to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Attendees dazzled in designer duds, with noticeable trends including neon hues, lace embellishment, cinched waists, sexy slits, plunging backs, sparkly nudes and trains (Ms. Middleton may have something to do with that). But perhaps the biggest trend was donning Stella McCartney. Other than honoring Mr. McQueen by wearing his creations, it seemed Stella McCartney dressed a vast  majority celebs in attendance.  Iman, Eva Mendes, Kate Hudson and Gweneth Paltrow were among the stylish stars wearing Stella.  Talk about belle of the ball. Here are some of Stella’s stellar looks.
