Like a fashionably late Santa Clause, comedian Daniel Tosh is swinging into town to perform two shows, back-to-back at The Wells Fargo Theatre on Jan 15, but you better act quick if you want to sit on Santa’s lap (be careful Tosh’s knees are weaker than his larger December counterpart), as tickets are getting scarce even with the added show time!
Most know Daniel Tosh from his wildly successful Comedy Central show, TOSH.O that is so popular it took the coveted top rating spot for a non-animated show on the network, beating out The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report by a healthy margin. The success of the show has been so swift and dominating that Comedy Central hasn’t seen consistent ratings like this, in this category since Chappelle Show in ’04. Tosh.O only loses out to South Park and Futurama, but hey, who can compete with those juggernauts?
If you’re reading this, it’s a safe bet you’ve seen the show and are a Fan of Tosh’s irreverent humor on it. And even though Tosh does some really great work on the tube, such as the below unedited video of his review (and subsequent complete retelling of the story) of the horror flick Human Centipede, it’s still TV, with the FCC breathing a harsh cold breath down the collars of nervous network execs.

It is in his stand-up that Daniel Tosh’s brand of humor is really allowed to shine. And it’s for this very reason that you should go snap up tickets and enjoy a little “Tosh.O no he didn’t”… Oh yes I am totally not below that pun.
