Jet fete

Greg Bloom’s not the boss of me now. But he used to be. For the better part of a decade, Bloom published a pocket-sized Denver entertainment guide called Image Magazine; I was his Managing Editor for several years. We liked to call it “Denver’s nightlife Bible”, as it featured one of the most comprehensive breakdowns of nightly events available anywhere in the Mile High. The longtime CO resident migrated to LA last year and now has a boss of his own–“Mr. Charity” Todd Krim–along with a fancy new title: Director of Development for Krim’s organization Give Back Hollywood. Give Back is a philanthropy hub for celebrities, facilitating matches for some and trumpeting the triumphs of others. Back in Colorado for the holidaze, Bloom is hosting an “Old School Salute” this Tuesday, December 28, at The Jet Hotel.

“I am so excited to spend a big night with my Colorado family! So many great friendships were made in my 13 years in CO and I never felt it more than I do now. I miss everyone a great deal but carry all the love, as I aspire to reach new goals in the world of philanthropy in LA. This Tuesday is a very special night for me and everyone attending, a reunion of sorts, and will surely be one that none of us soon forget.”
