This year’s Emmy red carpet was like a shinny new bruise – blue, black and lots of bling.
Despite some pops of pink and white washes, dark colors danced across the carpet and Nokia Theater stage. Eva Longoria stunned in a black strapless Robert Rodriguez gown decorated with rosettes. Jane Krakowski and Lea Michele opted for navy numbers – Jane glowing in a black and navy textured, belted one-shoulder Escada and Lea in a sweat-heart neck, strapless Oscar de la Renta with cascading ruffles.
Shimmer and sparkle seductively glowed on the Emmy red carpet. From Claire Danes’ nude curve-hugging Armani Prive to Anna Paquin’s black and gold gladiator-inspired Alexander McQueen to Maria Menounos’ revealing Swarski crystal adorned Ralph & Russo.
Overall, the Emmy’s had the good, the bad and the bruised.
