The brains behind the vision. Wether you vibe to it or not, he’s still a pioneer in the scene. Freestyle Sessions at the 1stBank Center brought me back to the early days of first getting into electronic music. It was three nights of emotion, chaos, harmony and love combined. After being sidelined from both Red Rocks and Dick’s Sporting Good Park the last couple of years, the 1stBank Center brought back that underground vibe that electronic music has missed for a while. This was more about the music and not the big charade that goes on at festivals and so forth. Here is a recap of Sunday night through my lens.
