Where: 1037 Broadway, Denver

The Lowdown: Milk is the underground club you always dreamed of sneaking into when you were 16. This Clockwork Orange-inspired atmosphere with deep, sexy beats. Catch DJs like boyhollow, Gene Farris, Kenny Summit and Miles Maeda between the neon lights at Milk at one of their weekly or monthly events including Goth Night and Lipgloss.

The Church

When: For when you feel like committing and confessing your sins under the same roof.

Where: 1160 Lincoln St., Denver

The Lowdown: Stained-glass windows, alters and gargoyles — The Church kept the vintage décor of the cathedral that previously occupied the space and added a bumping sound system, a couple of bars and some of the best EDM acts today. You won’t find any preachers here — Deorro, Illenium, Cash Cash and Claude VonStroke are taking the stage.

When: For those rooftop party nights where you want to be able to talk to your friends while still enjoying some great music.

Where: 1037 Broadway, Denver

The Lowdown: Located just above Milk, Bar Standard showcases a variety of artists and genres including Kyle Watson, Sage Armstrong and Kelly Lee Owens. Bar Standard offers an iconic view of the city from the rooftop patio — perfect for sneaking away from the stage when you want to chat or catch your breath.

The Lowdown: Knew Conscious is an art gallery by day and an exclusive after party and membership only venue by night. This after party favorite and membership only venues hosts artists such as Flamingosis, DJ Logic and David Starfire. After parties held at Knew Conscious do not always require a membership. Other events require a monthly membership to attend.
