The 27th-Annual Schomp BMW Denver Polo Classic didn’t just bring out a great cause for local children’s charities, but some of the most fashionable people in the Denver area. A weekend of food, fun and fashion spent at the Polo Reserve kicked off Friday night, and we got a front-row seat.

The Del Frisco’s/Sullivan’s Black Tie Ball saw everything from sparkling mermaid gowns to cut-outs to crop tops and more, putting the Polo Reserve in Littleton on the fashion map. We captured the most fashion-forward looks of the night, although everyone looked flawless and elegant for the classy affair.

Popular at the event were short cocktail dresses with patterns and trendy colors. Courtney Beghtol and Heather Farrell styled their striped dresses with a pop of color. Beghtol paired her black and beige striped peplum dress with strappy heels and a bright red lip.

Monica Owens and Linda Flaherty glowed in their super on-trend ensembles. Owens wowed in a bright red cropped long-sleeve top and matching maxi-skirt. Her accessories were simple but added the perfect bright blue accent to an already stunning outfit.

What made this gown so special were the cut-outs on the shoulders, waist and back, showing just the right amount of skin. Flaherty also kept her accessories simple, with matching black nails and a big smile.

Whether it was gold accents or a knock-out mermaid gown, Jessica Jenkins and Sarah McCarthy could be spotted in a sea of neutrals. Jenkins gave her low-cut black gown new life with a sparkling gold headband, a long gold necklace and a matching gold over-the-shoulder purse.

McCarthy was quite possibly the most elegant at the event in a stunning gold strapless gown with ruffled detailing along the bottom half of the dress. While the dress speaks for itself, McCarthy couldn’t go without a coordinating metallic clutch and diamond earrings.
