BMW woman

When I think about what to wear during the holidays, it’s all about my Christmas or New Years Eve attire. But what about Thanksgiving? It might be the biggest stuff-your-face holiday of the year, but that doesn’t mean you have to show up wearing sweatpants.

But what exactly should you wear on Thanksgiving? Brown velvet pants? An orange blazer? Stay away from what you think Thanksgiving colors are – you don’t want to look like the tasty turkey on the table or the sweet potato pie.

We consulted with our partner, Schomp BMW, to see what the real-world working woman wants to wear on Thanksgiving. BMW women are all about confidence, independence and style, so we thought this would be the perfect place to find out what women want to wear during the holidays.

Here’s what to wear on Thanksgiving:

CLASSY COOL

UO jumpsuit

 Ecote Val Embellished Jumpsuit: $99

Stella Cuff

Chantilly Lace Cuff: $98

The jumpsuit: one of the most comfortable pieces of clothing you can ever own. It’ll leave a little extra room in case you indulge in a big meal, you can take a nap in it, but you’ll look classy and sophisticated while doing so. Pair this will some platforms or peep toes and you’ll be the Thanksgiving goddess at any turkey day celebration.

Even though Colorado’s weather is chilly and requires a bulky, shapeless jacket to keep you from freezing to death, that doesn’t mean you have to wear that jacket in doors. Actually, you don’t have to wear any jacket in doors unless you’re giving a speech or you’re trying to look ‘dressed up.’ You can wear a tank dress like this and add layers – one of the best trends right now.

 ‘Cut In’ Tank Dress: $46

Chevron Infinity Scarf: $68

BOHEMIAN BADASS

Hyperion Bodycon Dress: $138

Prints are in. But instead of pairing a print with sandals or flats, it’s the season to add a little ‘bootie’ to the look. Bring your leather out of the closet – jacket, boots, attitude – and be the trend setter at the Thanksgiving table.
