Help Wanted: Mood Boards & Fashion Sketches

Were you bummed that you didn’t make Project Runway? Do you have fashion ideas up the wazoo but no outlet for them? Then this might be your big chance.
The Denver Art Museum needs help from the local fashion community to help make their exclusive Yves Saint Laurent exhibit one for the ages. The museum is inviting all designers and students to contribute their best mood boards and fashion sketches for educational purposes at the museum’s Fashion Studio, a place for visitors to interact with the fashion world and YSL exhibit during the spring and summer of this year.Submitted items will be returned upon request at the close of exhibit.

C’mon now, Denver. Show us what you got!

Guidelines:
Mood Boards:
Not exceed 16”x20”
Include an ID Tag on the back with artist’s name and contact information. Please
include name, title (i.e. fashion designer, student, etc) address, and email address.
May include photographs, illustrations, objects, text or other items.
Have a title indicating the direction of style (i.e. “Chic Elegant” or “Modern Steampunk”)

Fashion Sketches:
Submissions must
Not exceed 11”x17″
Include an ID tag on the back with artist’s name and contact information. Please include
name, title (i.e. fashion designer, student, etc ), address, and email address.

Deadline: Friday, February 24, 2012
