I had two fabulous fashion finds this week. The first is that Brian Atwood, shoe designer extraordinaire, is launching a more wallet-friendly footwear collection next month. The line, called B Brian Atwood, embraces a European sophistication paired with downtown edge. There is a colorful ombre animal print pump that is to die for! Available exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue, prices range from $200-$1,000. Pre-order is available now. Talk about getting fall off on the right foot.
My second designer discovery was on one of my favorite shopping sites, Piperlime.com. Former Project Runway contestant, and season eight winner, Gretchen Jones has created a line exclusively for Piperlime, with 100% of the proceeds going to Aid to Artisans, an organization devoted to providing economic opportunities to help artisans build profitable craft businesses. The edgy collection is inspired by Egyptian pyramids and the cult film Holy Mountain. Nearly every item in the 14-piece, all gold collection features triangle and diamond studs. Prices range from $48-$128.
