As all things funky and innovative here at 303, I want to highlight a little charity bit that also shares a similar outlook. Ballet Nouveau Colorado (BNC), a recognized leader in the education, development and presentation of dance, will host their 8th Annual Dance from the Heart – a luncheon event dedicated to raising awareness and funds for BNC’s Community Programs. Those who attend Dance from the Heart will experience first-hand the impact made on children and adults who participate in all of BNC’s various Community Programs throughout the year. The event features guest speakers and performances by individuals who have been directly touched by BNC‟s Community Programs. This will include a very special performance by fourteen year-old Skyler Greenwald, who attended Thornton Elementary during one of BNC’s partnership programs. Greenwald was given a scholarship after the residency was complete, and he has been dancing with BNC now for three years. This special event takes place March 18 at 11:33 am.
