Rising Star is the 7th Biennial Signature Event presented by The Fashion Group International of Denver in collaboration with Dress for Success Denver saluting fourteen emerging Colorado designers who competed for the title of the next “rising star”. The winner of the competition was Carol Ann Wachter. She is a fashion designer based in Boulder, Colorado. Carol has drawn from her painting and sculpture background to create her own line of women’s clothing. With a focus on fine fabrics, craftsmanship, and classic forms, Carol has built a reputation for wearable, elegant silhouettes.
