Thumbs Down! This is not a show for professional and buyers. The show started an hour late. Except for the camera man with a flash to produce these pictures, it was dark by mid/late show. Those of us at the event could hardly see the colors and designers. And when the light flash –it wasn’t clear if I saw the design, or the afterimage of the design. Then it was dark again,
Business folks have a busy agenda, receptions to attend at 8, family dinners, we are gone. We bring out wives for an evening out before dinner, and we’ve left for dinner by interval. . This should have been a fast- paced, vibrant show with the latest stuff/models. Instead it reminded me of overgrown girls/men trying outfits from their grandmothers’ attic. This is an 90 min show at most. But to take a whole evening ????
I always said if college/graduate students could sue their teachers, the education system would improve by leaps and bounds. Designers and models should skewer the producers, hold a BBQ fundraiser instead.
WOW! Pointing only the negatives which were not nearly as many as the positives. It WAS a great show considering all of the out of anyone's hands setbacks that were thrown their way. Majority rules! Majority of feedback I have seen or heard, people thoroughly enjoyed themselves. A GORGEOUS choice for venue, and BEAUTIFUL designs from the creative minds amongst our community. Any event, for the 1st time ever at a venue is going to have setbacks. It's called life! Who is anyone to be so harshly critical. All ARE entitled to their opinions, granted. But a lot of people put in a lot of time and hard work and blood sweat and tears to give everyone a great show. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
