Motionless In White have made their way back to the Mile High City, but this time with friends New Years Day, For Today and Ice Nine Kills. Following the release of 2014’s Reincarnate, which just so happens to be Motionless In White’s critically acclaimed, third full-length record, the band released their official music video for the title track “Reincarnate.”

Reincarnate debuted at #9 on the Billboard Top 200 and #1 in the Rock Charts, making this the band’s most successful effort to date. And things have just gotten sweeter as the official music video for “Reincarnate” has now been succeeded this past week by their latest video for “Break The Cycle.”

Motionless In White seem to be on a conquest to become the next biggest industrial/hard rock act, after turning the page on their former genre-bending gothic/hardcore sound (When Love Met Destruction / Creatures). More than often it becomes an insurmountable task for bands to re-establish themselves in a new light (and genre) after such a massive turnover (and in this case, breakthrough), but for Motionless In White it seems to be a somewhat profound career-altering move that’s paid off.

Not only are Motionless In White the up-and-coming hard rock act that could easily find themselves headlining (or co-headlining) an arena tour in the not-so-distant future à la Marilyn Manson, Slipknot and Rob Zombie, but they could, and very well may, take a commanding lead as the next in line for the hard rock throne.

And as bands and their lead frontmen like the aforementioned Marilyn Manson (age 46) and Rob Zombie (age 50) slowly begin to wind down touring schedules, record releases and just about every other aspect of their current musical careers, it’s bands like Motionless In White that will start to shine as the next beacon of hard rock hope.

But Motionless In White aren’t the only band on this tour that hope to continue pushing their musical career to new heights … this is where we introduce Ice Nine Kills.

A band that has long been pushed aside, even though their musical tenure often rivals or exceeds that of their peers — next year will mark a decade. Sheer resilience and persistence have kept them alive and afloat, as their never say die mentality remains a core, integral piece to what has defined the band’s sound over the years.

And now Outerloop Records (a Fearless Records imprint) has the opportunity to help mold Ice Nine Kills into a musical force to be reckoned with.

Ice Nine Kills released their third full-length record The Predator Becomes The Prey a little over a year ago, but I would be very surprised if the band didn’t already have some pieces set in motion for their next release. Realistically in the waning months of 2015 or early 2016. And for now they will be helping open the Beyond The Barricade Tour as an ice-breaker for unexpecting, tranquil audiences across the country. Little do these unsuspecting crowds know that the volatile, fiery sound that Ice Nine Kills brings to the table will have crowds going haywire in no time.

Check out both Motionless In White and Ice Nine Kills at Summit Music Hall, along with New Years Day and For Today, for a chance to see some of the most promising bands in the business. Motionless In White are a band you’ll definitely want to see now, as their rise to the top continues.
