World champions will be teaching dance lessons from now until December, so there is plenty of time to get these styles down pat. To add to all the artsy events happening around town, Denver Plein Air Arts Festival is happening from now until December 31st. En plein air meaning “in the open air” in French, allows this festival to display pieces that have been created to represent the outdoors. Over 110 pieces have been chosen for this show, and to know that there were over three hundred submitted is incredible. This festival is the largest plein air event to hit this country, so who wouldn’t want to miss it!
storyTELLING
When an artist can reach out to each and everyone one us, in my eyes they have accomplished the world… due to the fact everyone has their own opinions and views on life. Jeanne Bessette is showcasing her emotional work through an exhibit known as storyTELLING. Her peers and audience explain her pieces as “something you want to reach out and touch” which is presented through the use of color and texture. This emotional story is on display from now until December 2nd at Mirada Fine Art so be sure to go check it out.
