When hearing the inspirations and motive behind an artist’s work is quite interesting and moving… Why? Because every artist is unique whether they are a fashion designer like Yves Saint Laurent to a painter such as Van Gogh. At Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design, McKenzie Wark, an artist, scholar, and will be a visiting designer, will be holding a lecture about his successes, work, and book he just completed.  His work ranges from a piece known as Speed Factory, to A Hacker Manifesto and Garner Theory, as well as many others. It is not everyday we get to listen to an accomplished artist so go on and check it out, oo yes and it is free.
