 On September 22nd at May Farms, thousands of women will be covered in mud, muck and merriment as they partake in the  Dirty Girl Mud Run. This all-women event combines a 5k obstacle run with unique touches for all participants.  
 
A portion of all proceeds from Dirty Girl registration fees are donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. In 2011, Dirty Girls helped donate over $50,000 to help win the race against breast cancer. In each city of the 2012 tour, 250 Cancer Survivors will receive complimentary registration and special recognition.

To prepare you for this muddy adventure, Dirty Girl has compiled and defined a list of mud run lingo:

    • H20MG- Water Pit – Dirty Girls traverse a mud-filled, knee-deep culvert.
    • The Hangover- Hanging tires – Dirty Girls run, crawl, hop, skip or dance through swinging tires.
    • Barn Burner- Hay bale climb – Dirty Girls climb sequentially higher bales of hay and descend back down
    • Loop de Loop- Tire weave – Where in the World is Carmen SanDiego? Dirty Girls weave their way through a maze of tires.
    •  Tire Pump- Tire high step – Getting ready to get their dance steps on at the past run party, Dirty Girls high step their way over a field of tires.
    • Just Get Over It- Wall climb – Dirty Girl climb (sometimes with the help of friends) a wall the peaks at 8 feet.
    • Utopian Tubes- Tunnel crawl – Dirty Girls channel their pre-toddler phase as they crawl through some muddy fun-ness.
    • Get A Grip- Cargo net – Dirty Girls challenge themselves with a climb up and down a cargo ne
    • One Ugly Mudder- Mud hill scale and descent – Slip, slide and scale. Dirty Girl pull themselves up a mud-soaked hill with the help of ropes
    • Jail Break- Fence Jump – Dirty Girls elevate themselves to new heights.
    • PMS (Pretty Muddy Stuff)- Mud crawl. Ah, the marquee ending. Dirty Girls finish to the cheers of wildly enthusiastic spectators as they crawl through a mud-filled trench and earn a sense of accomplishment they won’t be able to wash off.
