Recommended: Light Up The Sky and Youth in Revolt @ The Marquis
Light Up The Sky’s first single “Bring It On” was released in July 2013. Using elements of classical guitar, rock and metal-core, they reach fans of every genre. The band will make their Denver debut one to remember, so start your week off right at the Marquis.

Tuesday, June 20
Recommended: Ryan Adams @ Red Rocks
The North Carolina singer-songwriter that has defined alternative country is headlining Red Rocks once again. Formerly a member of Whiskeytown, Ryan Adams’ solo project has become one of the best country-folk acts the past two decades has seen. His 2000 release of Heartbreaker helped thrust his talent as a solo act into the spotlight and has since had over twenty songs on Billboard’s Top 200.

Recommended: A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie with Trayce Chapman, Ken and Ryu and Low Hanging Fruit @ The Gothic
J. Dubose, otherwise known as A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, is a Bronx-raised rapper, songwriter and producer. Although his style of music aligns with artists like Quavo, Don Q and PnB Rock, he takes a more funky route with trap. His collaboration with Don Q on the track “Bag on Me” gained the attention of Meek Mill and DJ Khalid. The recognition resulted in a deal with Atlantic Records with which he his still currently signed to.

Poptone is a collective of bandmates Daniel Ash and Kevin Haskins who spent the ‘80s and ‘90s together performing in the bands Bauhaus, Tones on Tail and Love and Rockets. It also includes Haskins daughter and Diva Dompe, and together they form Poptone. They will be performing songs from all three bands. A few of their hits include “Kundalini Express,” “The Dog-End of a Day Gone By,” “Double Dare,” “Christian Says” and “In the Flat Field.”

Ska-punk legends Streetlight Manifesto are set to headline the Ogden. Their debut LP Everything Goes Numb was released in 2003, and have since toured with bands such as Gym Class Heroes, Reel Big Fish and MxPx. Since their first LP, they’ve released four other studio albums with The Hands That Thieve the most recent. Their most popular songs include “We Will Fall Together,” “Point/Counterpoint,” “A Better Place a Better Time” and “Here’s to Life.”

Widespread Panic continues their three-night stop in Denver on Saturday, June 24 with night number two. The notorious jam band has been in the game for the past three decades, and have gained a loyal following that’s been with them over the years. Their most infamous songs are tracks like “Porch Song,” “Chilly Water,” “Love Tractor,” “Rebirtha,” “Climb to Safety,” “Driving Songs” and countless others. If you’re lucky enough to attend one or all three of these nights, you can expect the best from this band of legends.
