Denver Fashion Weekend (DFW) is back again this fall season, happening November 10 to November 13. At DFW, your taste buds will never be bored because attendees will get a complimentary taste of everything from ice cream and ribs to Southern bites and Thanksgiving teasers. Thursday, November 10
Sugarmill
Where: 2461 Larimer St, Denver
What: RiNo’s Sugarmill is sweetening things up at DFW. Chef Ryan Witcher will serve an illanka crunch tart with homemade raspberry-sumac jam. This specialty will make your tastebuds go on a sugar craze with the combination of rich chocolate, raspberry and a crunchy bite. To get to know more about Sugarmill, take a look here.
Rolling Pin
Where: 2716 Welton St, Denver
What: This DFW participant is none other than the brand new Denver bakeshop, Rolling Pin. Located next to the famed Rosenberg’s Bagels and Delicatessen, Rolling Pin specializes in hand-made pastries. For this DFW, they will roll out hazelnut praline mousseline filled with profiteroles and dipped in white chocolate. With the combination of the light mousse, the creamy profiteroles, the nutty praline flavors and white chocolate topping, you are sure to be in heaven at this year’s show.
Postino
Where: 2715 17th St, Denver
What: Hailing from Arizona, Postino Winecafe broke ground in Denver last summer in LoHi and has since become a neighborhood favorite. Known for their specialty boards of bruschetta and charcuterie, you can expect Postino to come prepared with plenty of options for hungry showgoers. For this year, Postino will dish out a selection of their bruschetta menu, which includes mouthwatering options like brie and apples with fig spread, prosciutto with figs and mascarpone and more.
Saturday, November 12 & Sunday, November 13
Little Man Ice Cream
Where: 2620 16th St, Denver
What: The only thing better than fashion at DFW is ice cream. Little Man Ice Cream, inspired by vintage Coney Island hot dog stands, is coming to Denver Fashion Week. Their four featured flavors will include salted oreo, Mexican chocolate, space junky and banana pudding. Little Man Ice Cream combines the 1920s, 1930s and the 1940s eras into a unique old-fashioned experience that tastes like homemade ice cream. Little Man Ice Cream will be at DFW on Saturday only. Adrift
Where: 218 S Broadway
What: Adrift is bringing guava BBQ baby back ribs, citrus coriander rub ribs and fennel orange slaw ribs to DFW. Adrift is a Tiki bar in Denver that serves tropical-inspired plates and classic Hawaiian rum drinks in a playful Polynesian atmosphere. Adrift is stopping by DFW on Sunday only. Bonanno Concepts
Where: 701 E 7th Ave
What: This unique restaurant group thrives on chef-driven cuisine. As a part of Bonanno Concepts, pie bites from Wednesday’s Pie will be on the menu for Saturday and Sunday of DFW. Ever since Bonanno’s Concepts decided to run Wednesday’s Pie seven days a week, it became their signature pie shop. Now their famous pies are a must for any Thanksgivings and luckily for DFW’ers, you will be able to sample them just in time for the holiday. LOW Country Kitchen
Where: 435 Lincoln Ave, Steamboat Springs
What: All the way from Steamboat, LOW Country Kitchen is cooking up mini biscuits with country ham, creole aioli along with their house-made red pepper jelly at this year’s DFW.
