Don’t Miss the 7th Annual Colorado Burlesque Festival This Weekend

Thursday, July 7 ushers in the glitter train of glamour that is the 7th Annual Colorado Burlesque Festival. The festival is a celebration of all things related to the art-of-the-tease with performances by burlesque legends of past and present.

This year’s headliners include Colorado’s own Gail Winns and Canada’s Judith Stein, who will tread the boards once again, bringing their legendary talent to the historic stage at the Paramount Theater. Also appearing as headliners will be some of burlesque and boylesque’s top performers who are making their own paths towards becoming legends. Trixie Little, the Reigning Queen of Miss Exotic World 2016 , who won over the world with her “a-peeling” act in Las Vegas’ Burlesque Hall of Fame, and Bazuka Joe of Chicago’s Stage Door Johnnies will be headlining alongside Denver’s own versatile vixen, Vivienne VaVoom.

With performances ranging from classic to neo-burlesque, from funny to sultry, the Colorado Burlesque Festival is the weekender you don’t want to miss. Read on for information about all five shows lined up to get your tassels twirling.

Low Down: Join Colorado’s own Lola Spitfire and Gezelle Za Belle as The Evilettes: The Infamous Go-Go Dancing Super Vixens from Outerspace, as they tantalizingly take you through the first evening of performances in the kick-off show that takes it off.

 

Thursday’s Late Show Shimmy

Friday’s Late Night Naughty Nightcap

Low Down: Fanny Fitztightlee will have you laughing your way through act after act of sparkling, live, late-night theater with performances by some of the best burlesque and boylesque acts in the U.S.

 

Saturday’s Colorado Burlesque Festival Spectacular

Where: The Paramount Theater – 1621 Glenarm Place – Denver

When: July 9th at 7:30 p.m.

Cost: $25 to $60

Low Down: Naughty Pierre hosts the spectacular spectacle that is CBF’s big show at the historic Paramount Theater. You will be amazed by performances from each headliner as well as a multitude of phenomenal acts hailing from San Francisco to Baltimore and everything in between.

Colorado Burlesque Festival is an annual celebration of all that burlesque has to offer in its glittery, sequin and rhinestone glory. Each show is packed with stage-worthy talent that exhibits a unique take on what burlesque and boylesque has come to represent, every body is beautiful and everybody uniquely expresses their art to the delight of audiences.
