Saturday’s dinner service will be the final one for fast-casual Bubu in Lowry. However, it will not be the last we see of chef and restaurateur Troy Guard in the space. The shutter is a mere 12 days, as Guard will reopen with a new concept—Lucky Cat.

While a full menu is yet to be released, Lucky Cat will offer Guard’s unconventional take on traditional Chinese dishes. When the new concept opens on Friday, May 20, expect happy hour snacks (including sushi), along with curbside takeout, family night menu and a program featuring cocktails, sake, beer and wine.
