On a recent Friday evening, I found myself searching for something a bit different than my usual fare. Tucked just around the corner from Boulder’s bustling Pearl Street Mall, I found PMGa quiet and cozy place that prides itself on an extensive wine list and ever-changing menu.

After ordering drinks and appetizers, we opted for the whole red snapper as an entree. The fish was the envy of every table around us, cooked so the fish meat slid off of the bone and served with artichokes and decadent crispy potatoes. As it would have been too much for one, the snapper is perfect for sharing and was picked clean by the end.

Part of the fun was not only sharing the excellent fish, but sharing the excitement with the staff.

Part of the fun was not only sharing the excellent fish, but sharing the excitement with the staff. Because the menu changes so frequently to keep up with what’s in season and available, the staff are eager to hear opinions and compare with dishes of the past. PMG’s menu and atmosphere will keep you coming back for more, checking to see if your favorite menu items will last the season or what variation they can come up with next.
