Returning for its fourth year, one of Denver’s largest comedy events—the High Plains Comedy Festival—is scheduled to return August 25-27. Guaranteeing to split some sides, the annual fest was founded by Denver’s own comedy darling Adam Cayton-Holland. Holland, who recently premiered on truTV’s very first original scripted comedy, Those Who Can’t, has brought along truTV as an official sponsor this year.

“We couldn’t be more excited about our new partnership with truTV,” says Cayton-Holland. “I know, from working with them on Those Who Can’t, that the truTV team brings high energy and great ideas to all of their creative endeavors. We think their role in this year’s Festival will translate to an elevated experience for performers and audience members alike, and will help shine a national spotlight on High Plains.”

Tickets for the headlining show are officially online and can be purchased here.  The event will once again take over South Broadway and the Paramount Theater.  The full lineup of performers has not been announced yet, save the three headliners listed below.  Stay tuned for the full lineup, as the 2016 installment is promising, “70+ funny folks headed our way this August.”
