The Low Down: Stem Ciders hosts a special edition of their weekly Cider & Sides event this Tuesday. How does a cookie and cider pairing sound? Girl Scout Cookies, to be exact. For only $15, get four Stem Cider pours paired with a selection of the famous cookies. Trefoils with Project X Cider and Tagalongs with Le Chene Cider are among the pairings. No reservations or tickets are necessary for the event—just show up and indulge.

It showcases more than 30 of Vail’s outstanding restaurants and chefs along with the owners and winemakers from 50 of the top wineries around the country. Take in the mountain views and indulge in the Vail lifestyle through seminars and tastings, such as the Colorado Lamb Cook-Off and the Mountain Top Tasting at 10,350 feet above sea level. The Low Down: While winter pumped the brakes on Denver’s food truck scene, you can get a taste of what you’ve been missing this Saturday. The Rotary Club of Five Points Cultural District hosts Denver’s first ‘80s-themed indoor food truck event. Head over for an evening of street food, craft drinks, live music and art. Grab bites from food trucks including The Crock Spot, Fat Green Bowl, and The Dessert Stand. Dry Dock Brewing Co., C Squared Ciders and Molly’s Spirits are slinging the drinks. Proceeds from food and drink purchases benefit the Rotary’s community engagement programs including the Shots for Tots clinic and the Books for Nooks literacy program.
