The Low Down: If Tuesday has you ready for some whiskey, head over to the Green Russell. The chef-driven cocktail joint will host an exclusive whiskey dinner with Colorado distillery, Leopold Bros. Celebrating the art of cocktail and culinary pairings, whiskey lovers can rejoice at this six-course dinner. Highlights include seared halibut paired with a Maryland-style rye cocktail with chamomile tea, salt, yuzu and celery bitters. There’s only 40 spots available, so call now to secure yours.

Tour of Tuscany

The Low Down: Get a taste for the lavish, rich flavors of Tuscany from Denver Italian restaurant, Carmine’s on Penn. Carmine’s owner Brad Ritter has put together an evening of regional wine and food pairings based on his travels throughout Tuscany, Italy. Reservations are required, as there are only be 20 available seats.

The Low Down: Go beyond green beer this St. Patty’s day at Second Home Kitchen + Bar. This all-day bash includes small bites, unlimited Guinness and various desserts for $50. Jam out to the live DJ and imbibe on $5 Jameson drinks all day. You don’t have to be Irish to celebrate fireside.

St. Patrick’s Day at Del Frisco’s Grille

When: Thursday, March 17th. 4-10 p.m.

Where: 100 St. Paul St., Denver

The Low Down: No need to rush in before happy hour ends— it lasts all day in the bar at Del Frisco’s in Cherry Creek this Thursday. Share featured plates for $6 and sip on draft beer for $5. If you’re in the mood for something Irish, executive chef Dan Kane is offering his take on the traditional Irish-American corned beef and cabbage. The Kilt Lifter, a boozy concoction of Hendrick’s Gin topped with St. Germain elderflower liqueur, with a squeeze of lemon and a splash of Tabasco will also be available.
